Managing Director of Moelis & Company, Roger Hoit counsels financial sponsor clients on strategic matters. A leveraged buyout, an equity financing, a debt financing, and capital structure advice transactions are just a few of the many corporate finance transactions that Roger has originated and carried through over the course of his more than 25 years in the investment banking industry. The Private Equity Solutions Group's Chairman is Roger. Many of the largest private equity, alternative asset management, and family office companies in the world are among Roger's clientele. Hoit works out of the Moelis & Company office in West Palm Beach, Florida.



Roger was a Managing Director in the Global Financial Sponsors Group at Morgan Stanley prior to joining Moelis & Company. By counseling financial sponsors and the firms in their portfolio on strategic deals and investment possibilities, he established himself as a market leader. Prior to that, Roger held the positions of Managing Director and Partner at Gleacher & Co. as well as Managing Director at SG Cowen, a part of Société Générale. He started off in business at PaineWebber Inc. Roger graduated from Amherst College with a B.A. in Economics. Hoit is a skilled amateur golfer who competes on a national and international level. He has qualified for and participated in more over 25 USGA and Royal & Ancient National Championships.
